Sub: ELECTION TO THE COUNCIL OF THE SOCIETY
FOR THE YEARS 2009-2011
Dear Member,
Nominations are invited for 19 seats of the council of the Investment Casting Society for the years 2009 - 2011, which are to be filled by election. The Constitution of society (under the society registration Act. 1961) has approved 19 representatives (including 7 office bearers &12 executive council members) based on the strength of votes.
Members with voting right (whose subscription is clear up to December 2010) may nominate candidates for the above 19 seats. It is essential that another member with voting right should second every proposal for nomination, failing which the proposal will not be considered valid. Any Member eligible to stand for election, however, shall not nominate himself. It is to be noted,that the nomination form must be submitted through online with the name of Seconder by 18th January (12.30 pm),2010.
Online voting will start from 10th January, 2010 and will continue till 15th January, 2010, those who are unable to access the online voting system within stipulated period of voting time, may cast their vote electronically on 21st January, 2010, at CMERI, Durgapur, and that will be on for 1 hr. only. The result will be decleared on 22nd January, 2010 and subsequently New Executive Council will be formed on the same day during the AGB Meeting of ICS. The consent of the members nominated, will be informed electronically. Eligibility of nominees, nominators and voters: All members, whose subscription clear up to 31st December 2010, are eligible. Members who have not paid their subscription up to date are, therefore, requested to clear it and send the dues to the Hony.Treasurer / Hony.
